Sriram Raghavan is one of those few directors who has successfully handled the thriller genre in Bollywood. He has previously directed Ek Hasina Thi, Johnny Gaddar and Badlapur, each one an exceptional thriller. We also got Agent Vinod from him which was not that great but it was still slick and a new age in its treatment. Now Sriram Raghavan comes back with Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Netflix's poster girl Radhika Apte.
The official trailer of the film was recently released and I was delighted to see Tabu playing a very interesting role. It begins almost like a typical love story but that changes soon enough as we see a murder and also a few questions around Ayushman's blindness. Is he blind, is he not?
The film hits theatres on 5th October.
