Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse Movie Review

spider-man-into-the-spider-verse

Over the past decade or so, the only thing DC has had an upper hand on (when compared to Marvel) is animated films. I say this because some of the best animation action/superhero films I have seen are all by DC. Batman: Under the red hood, Batman: The Mask of Phantasm, Justice League: Doom, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and above all Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox (my favourite).  ...  More

Ralph Breaks the Internet Movie Review

Ralph breaks the internet

6 years after "I'm gonna wreck it" became somewhat of a cult phrase, the big man is back with his adorable little friend. Ralph and Vanellope have been friends for six years and Ralph could not be happier. Andhadhun Movie Review

Andhadhun Tabu Aayushmann Radhika Apte

Bollywood today has become a money-making machine, one that relies heavily on grand openings of its big-budget films. When a filmmaker spends 75 odd crores on a film, he is looking at a hefty return. Mission Impossible Fallout Movie Review

mission impossible fallout

It was 1996 and I was 12 years old. Summer holidays were passing by in the usual way. Playing cricket, watching cartoons, reading comics and trading Big-Fun and Centre Fresh cards. But there was one odd thing. Kids were going on and on about some guy called Tom Cruise and a scene where he suspends himself from the roof, hovering inches above the ground. Kids did their best to describe the scene to each other but you had to see it for yourself. Even today, it is one of the most iconic scenes of all time and Tom Cruise continues to be relentless. He has given us many entertaining action films from Minority Report to Edge of Tomorrow but Mission Impossible will always be special. It has played a huge part in inspiring a generation of action films and will be remembered as one of the first films to dare. Now comes Mission Impossible Fallout, which is the 6th film in the franchise.  ...  More

Yeh Meri Family Season 1 Review

yeh meri family TVF mona singh

This new show from TVF is a slice-of-life show and a brilliant one at that. Yeh Meri Family is centered around Harshu and his world. Harshu is like any other 12 years old. He wants to have fun in his holidays, read comics, get up late and not have a bath every day. The big differentiator for the show is it is set in the 90s. Due to this, the show brings forth some amazing moments filled with nostalgia. I could describe the show by saying this is creator Sameer Saxena’s love letter to the 90s, but I won’t. ...  More
