Kohrra Season 2 Review | Worthy of the Hype?

Kohrra Season 2 is very much worthy of the hype. If you loved the first season, you are going to love this too.

Barun Sobti was one of those actors this show elevated, and Season 2 confirms the first season was not a fluke. His performance is phenomenal and still criminally underrated in mainstream conversations. The way he carries the moral weight of this character — the quiet guilt and the duty pulling against it — is beautifully done. Mona Singh is captivating as always. Her screen presence in this show is something else entirely.

What makes Kohrra work is that it never tries to be anything other than what it is: a deeply human, deeply Punjabi investigative thriller. The setting, the relationships, the texture of how stories unfold in that world. Season 2 maintains all of that and adds more layers to characters we already cared about. The writing is sharp, the pacing is confident, and the show earns every heavy moment it delivers.

Watch it. Kohrra Season 2 is some of the best Indian crime television in recent memory.
