Vishal Bhardwaj is back with Pataakha and it looks like this one is going to be a complete riot. The official trailer of Pataakha comes out today and features Sanya Malhotra (Dangal) as the younger of two sisters (Chutki) who can't stand each other. Radhika Madan makes her Bollywood debut as the elder sister, Badki. Pataakha also boasts of a great support cast, comprising of Vijay Raaz, Sunil Grover, and Namit Das.
The film is based on a short story titled Do Behnein written by Charan Singh Pathik. Vishal Bhardwaj seems to be in his elements going by the trailer as Paatakha seems like a deep rooted story coming from the hinterlands of the country. The big difference is that this looks like a comedy drama which is really exciting coming from Vishal Bhardwaj. The music has been given by Vishal Bhardwaj himself, no surprises there. So we can expect another memorable film coming from this amazingly talented yet fiercely humble man.
Pataakha releases on 28th September
