Mission Impossible Fallout Movie Review

mission impossible fallout

It was 1996 and I was 12 years old. Summer holidays were passing by in the usual way. Playing cricket, watching cartoons, reading comics and trading Big-Fun and Centre Fresh cards. But there was one odd thing. Kids were going on and on about some guy called Tom Cruise and a scene where he suspends himself from the roof, hovering inches above the ground. Kids did their best to describe the scene to each other but you had to see it for yourself. Even today, it is one of the most iconic scenes of all time and Tom Cruise continues to be relentless. He has given us many entertaining action films from Minority Report to Edge of Tomorrow but Mission Impossible will always be special. It has played a huge part in inspiring a generation of action films and will be remembered as one of the first films to dare. Now comes Mission Impossible Fallout, which is the 6th film in the franchise.  ...  More

uncharted 1 to 4 nathan drake

PlayStation 2 was my first ever console like many other kids in India. I and my younger brother bought it because so that we could play Tekken. Unfortunately, playing Tekken on PlayStation 2 was not even remotely as fun as playing it in a game parlor. Once we realized that, we started trying out a lot of other games. In those experiments, my brother found his first love FIFA and I found my next favorite game after Half-Life. It was called Uncharted. The story, the animation, the action, everything was fantastic. Sanju Movie Review

Sanju Poster

Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. It hit theatres on 29th June and by the time I saw it on 30th June, the film had already collected over 34 crores at the box office. This is the biggest opening of Ranbir's career and he really needed this. Alas! if only collections could measure the strength of a film. Ranbir's biggest opening before this was Besharam, and it was horrible. Thankfully, Sanju is not a bad film, but it is far from Rajkumar Hirani's best. Very-very far. ...  More

Spiderman Far From Home

There has been a lot of speculation around the Spiderman: Homecoming sequel since Avengers: Infinity Wars came out. Finally, we have some dope on the topic. Tom Holland, who has gained a reputation as the Spoiler King posted an Instagram video. Apparently, he just wanted to say hi and tell everyone that there are no big reveals coming up. He talks about how Spiderman is dead and he has no idea what is going to happen. Then just before the end, he gives the audiences a glimpse of his iPad. You can clearly see the screen and the title of the new Spiderman film. Spiderman Far From Home.  ...  More

Incredibles 2 Movie Review

incredibles 2

14 years ago, when Incredibles (2004) was released it was in no way a unique story. Powers were all derivatives of the Marvel universe, some of which had been used many times in multiple films and TV shows. But the film still clicked because the treatment was unique and the animation was flawless. Set in a world where Superheroes are illegal, Incredibles (2004) gave us heroes who lived in hiding. Centred around a family of 5 (including the baby, Jack-Jack), who is moving ever-so-often because of Dad aka Mr Incredible who can't seem to keep his powers hidden for long. Incredibles 2 gives us back the same adorable family but this time there is an added bonus (will come to that in a bit). ...  More
