Overview

Jack Ryan is now in its third season and for everyone who loved the first two seasons, there is very little that you wouldn't enjoy in season three. Jack once again is in the middle of a political shit-storm. He's the only one who knows what's going on, who can solve the clues and save everyone. This time around, it's world war three.  Yes yes, I know I might come across as someone who doesn't enjoy this genre at all but let me tell you that's not the case. I enjoy this, what I don't enjoy, is more of the same.

The Issues in Season 3

In this season as well all the effort must be put in by the leading star of Jack Ryan John Krasinski and he's able to pull in a lot of that weight successfully. He does get support from veteran James Cosmo who is exceptional.  My biggest complaint with Jack Ryan is that now that we are in the third season, you would expect some sort of support characters being developed over the course of these seasons. I'd like to know a little bit more about the characters that are alongside Jack, their backstory, their families, and their history. The action was underwhelming as well. I distinctly remember being wowed in both season 1 and season 2 by some prolific action sequences but in season three I don't really recall a single one The writing is sort of Patchy as well. The season starts off great I think the pace is great in episode one, in episode two, but then somewhere in the middle, it kind of alters and drops. It only picks up towards the last two episodes maybe two and a half episodes once the countdown for the climax has begun.

Final Take

Jack Ryan season three is watchable and the biggest reason for that is John Krasinski his Charisma is infectious and so is his craft for him and for him alone I recommend that you watch Jack Ryan season 3.
