Foxstar Studios have released the official trailer of Dil Bechara. The film has been talked about a great deal because tragically, Dil Bechara is Sushant Singh Rajput's last film.
Dil Bechara is the official remake of the 2014 film, The Fault In Our Stars, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. The original film was, in fact, based on a novel of the same name, written by John Green. The Hindi remake will star Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi, and Saif Ali Khan. The music of the film has been composed by A.R. Rahman who was apparently convinced within the first 5 minutes of the narration by director Mukesh Chhabra. The film marks Mukesh's directorial debut but he has had a long and successful relationship with Bollywood as a casting director for gems like Dangal, Haider, and Gurgaon.
The trailer is honestly a difficult watch for me because now it is heartwrenching to see Sushant smiling, dancing, and being himself onscreen. Going by the trailer, it seems Sushant had plenty to do in Dil Bechara and like most of his earlier film, he has done this with a lot of heart. I really hope Dil Bechara gets added to the list of best films by Sushant Singh Rajput.
Dil Bechara will release on Disney+ Hotstar from 24th July 2020.
